On Sunday, April 13, former North Forney High School standout Hayeli Acosta’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals, won 16-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Sul Ross Lobos.

The game took place at Maner Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Lady Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at The Yard against Western New Mexico Mustangs.
