On Sunday, April 27, former North Forney High School standout Hayeli Acosta’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Midwestern State Mustangs.
The game took place at Maner Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Mustangs this season.
The Lady Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 5 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.
