Katrina Pierson, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Texas’ 33rd House district, recently posted a series of statements on her social media account regarding Labor Day and legislative activity in the Texas Legislature.

On September 1, 2025, Pierson marked the national holiday with a message recognizing American workers. She wrote, “Happy Labor Day! Today we celebrate the hardworking men and women who keep America strong. Your grit is what makes this country great! https://t.co/bGqgQ22OXQ”.

The following day, she addressed her voting record on Senate Bill 10 (SB10) and its amendments. In her post dated September 2, 2025, Pierson stated, “I voted in favor of SB10 with House amendments. I voted NO on senate concurrence because the amendments were stripped out. My district demands real property tax relief, and none of the municipalities in Rockwall County would be impacted by this legislation.

I would not be https://t.co/jsomzmA9nM“.

Later that same day, she referenced ongoing legislative discussions by posting “THIS#txlege https://t.co/bYOFM4ZbwA”.

Pierson succeeded Justin Holland as state representative for District 33 after winning election earlier in 2025. Her recent statements reflect both recognition of national observances and engagement with legislative matters relevant to her constituents.
