On February 6, 2026, Pierson announced her appointment to a new advisory committee: “It is an honor to be appointed by Speaker @Burrows4TX to the 1836 Project Advisory Committee, focused on telling the Texas story and strengthening understanding of our state’s history and values. Great first meeting today in Austin with Reps @FairlyForTexas and @HicklandHillary.” The 1836 Project aims to promote awareness of Texas history and heritage.

On February 7, 2026, she posted about attending an endorsement event for Governor Abbott’s campaign: “Grateful to attend @AbbottCampaign endorsement event and thankful for the strong support from Second Amendment advocates, sportsmen, conservation leaders, and those who work every day to protect Texas land and liberty. Their commitment to our constitutional rights and outdoor”

Pierson succeeded Justin Holland as representative for Texas’s 33rd House district following her election in 2025.
