The following day, she published a statement recognizing National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. On January 9, 2026, Pierson wrote: “Today we proudly recognize National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! Pierson succeeded Justin Holland as representative of Texas’s 33rd House district after her election in 2025.
