Lance Gooden, a U.S. Congressman who has consistently secured re-election since 2018, addressed several issues on his Twitter account on January 7, 2026. His posts focused on criticism of political opponents, support for ICE officers, and allegations regarding the use of disaster relief funds in California.

In a tweet posted at 18:51 UTC, Gooden wrote, “When the left glorifies chaos, violence follows. ICE officers are under attack for doing their jobs. I stand with the brave men and women of ICE! https://t.co/1A6meiRejw”.
