On Saturday, April 12, former Kaufman High School standout John Maldonado Jr.’s current college team, the UTSA Roadrunners, won 16-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wichita State Shockers.
The game took place at Eck Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Shockers this season.
The Roadrunners’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Eck Stadium against Wichita State Shockers.
The upcoming week starting Monday, March 2 will feature these former East Dallas area high school athletes.
