Commissioner Dana Macalik and Kami Webb provided an update on the progress of Rockwall County’s Strategic Plan 2050 at the Commissioners Court meeting held on February 24, 2026.
Rockwall County Government announced preparations to launch a public dashboard for the Strategic Plan 2050. According to county officials, this dashboard aims to enhance transparency by allowing residents to track initiatives and ongoing progress. The dashboard will be powered by Envisio, a strategy and performance management software partner.
The county has made its strategic plan available online for public review at https://rockwallcountytexas.com/strategicplan.
During the 2023-24 school year, Rockwall County saw a 3.4% increase in at-risk students, reaching a total of 7,777 students. This placed Rockwall County schools as having the 48th highest total at-risk student enrollment in Texas (https://tea.texas.gov/). Demographic data from that same period shows that white students were the largest ethnic group in local schools with 12,123 students—representing just over half of all students—while Hispanic students accounted for 26.3% with a total of 6,172 enrolled (https://tea.texas.gov/).
“We’re eagerly preparing to launch our Strategic Plan 2050 public dashboard. We can’t wait for you to see how our initiatives unfold and the progress we’re making together,” county officials said in a statement.
“Stay tuned for insightful updates on our plans, powered by our strategy and performance management software partner, Envisio!” they added.
