A global self-driving technology company, TuSimple, has obtained property in Fort Worth as a hub to carry freight between Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.

The property is in the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone, which was launched in 2019. The zone is in partnership with Deloitte.

The Ft. Worth truck terminal connects to TuSimple’s other freight corridors and will help the company continue its expansion into Texas. The effort will also allow TuSimple to add new autonomous trucking operations in various parts of Texas.

“We are thrilled that TuSimple has chosen to partner with Hillwood at the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone,” Mayor Betsy Price said. “TuSimple’s move to AllianceTexas underscores Fort Worth’s prominent role as a global destination for companies engaged in mobility innovation while furthering our success in creating a business environment where these companies can grow and thrive in a collaborative partnership with the public sector.”
