City Of Frisco issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
A section of 1st St. will be closed between Walnut St. and North County Rd. for two weeks starting Saturday, December 19, so that pavement repairs can be made. The road will close at 7 a.m. on December 19 and will reopen by Monday evening, January 4.
During the closure, no through traffic will be able to use 1st St. to travel between Walnut St. and North County Rd. However, local traffic coming from North County Rd. will still be able to reach the FISD Natatorium driveways and the Memorial Stadium parking lot (See attached PDF of map). Drivers who normally use 1st St. can use North County Rd. as an alternate route to and from Main St.
