Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team's libero Lyric Hebert is elected as the Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week following a 3-0 week for the Lion volleyball team.
Hebert (Arvada, Colo.) had an average of 5.5 digs per set in three wins for the Lions last week. She totaled 21 digs as well as five assists and an ace on Tuesday at Tarleton. Had a double-double with 27 digs, 14 assists, and four aces against Northwestern State as well as 18 digs and four aces in the three-set win over Southeastern. She is third in the conference with an average of 4.3 digs per set.
The Lions collected wins over Tarleton, Southeastern, and Northwestern State last week. They head to Lamar on Thursday at 6 p.m. and welcome McNeese on Senior Day at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week will be awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
