Monthly Business Luncheon on December 1

American Medical Response (AMR) Cheyenne is proud to announce its accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS).

“We are incredibly proud to be awarded this three-year designation,” said Kasandra Moloney, operations chief for AMR Cheyenne. “Our accreditation through CAAS represents the commitment and dedication of our first responders to clinical excellence, efficient service, and safety.”

CAAS accreditation is designed to help EMS agencies increase organizational performance and efficiency, increase clinical quality and decrease risk and liability. Accreditation provides a template for making comprehensive organizational changes that improve the overall performance of the organization. An independent review validates that accredited agencies adhere to the highest standards in the industry.

AMR provides 911 service to Laramie County residents and visitors. This is the first time AMR’s Wyoming operations have received CAAS accreditation. However, local AMR teams began working on the application process a year ago. CAAS accreditation shows dedication and commitment to quality and affirms that organizations are upholding the highest standards in areas such as patient care, quality improvement, financial management and public relations.
