Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team's Maddy Rashford has been selected as this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week.
Rashford (Placentia, Calif.) had 25 kills for an average of 3.57 kills per set at the Southland Conference Tournament last week. She hit .241 and also recorded seven digs, one assist, and two blocks. She had 16 kills and four digs in the first round win over New Orleans and hit .250 for nine kills against McNeese.
The Lions ended their season in the Southland Tournament quarterfinals on Friday, finishing their first Division I season with a record of 11-23.
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week will be awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
