THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY - NO TRASH PICKUP / CITY OFFICES CLOSED

In observance of Thanksgiving, there will be no residential trash, curbside recycling or brush/bulky collection on Thursday, Nov. 24. Thursday regular trash, recycling, brush and bulky collections will occur Friday, Nov. 25.

In addition, the following facilities will be closed Nov. 24-25:

  • Irving Animal Services
  • City Hall
  • Heritage Aquatic Center
  • Hunter Ferrell Landfill
  • Irving public libraries
  • North Lake Natatorium
  • Recreation centers
  • The Mustangs of Las Colinas Museum
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Irving Animal Services will resume regular business hours Saturday, Nov. 26.
  • Irving Archives and Museum will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and resume regular business hours Friday, Nov. 25.
  • Irving Arts Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24. Administrative offices also will be closed Friday, Nov. 25. The Arts Center and its box office will resume regular business hours Friday, Nov. 25.
  • Libraries will close early at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23 and resume normal business hours Saturday, Nov. 26.
  • The Mustangs of Las Colinas Museum will resume regular business hours on Saturday, Nov. 26.
  • Recreation and aquatic centers will resume normal business hours Saturday, Nov. 26.
  • The Ruth Paine House Museum will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 through Saturday, Nov. 26.
All city offices and services will resume normal business hours on Monday, Nov. 28.
