hree event wins and two school records were posted by the Texas A&M University-Commerce track & field teams on Saturday at the Mosier Indoor Facility in Oklahoma's J.D. Martin Invitational.

MEN
Dorian Andrews (Dallas – Skyline) timed 8.28 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles to place fifth. Delan Edwin (Castries, Saint Lucia) placed third in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.75 seconds, Emmanuel Agenor (Spanishtown, Jamaica) finished seventh with a time of 6.811 seconds, and Ibrahim Fuseini (Accra, Ghana) placed eighth with a time of 6.814.
 
In the 400 meter dash, Adrian Taylor (Cape Town, South Africa) had a personal best time of 50.28 seconds to place fourth. A&M-Commerce had three of the top four finishers in the 600 yard run. Eddie Barrientes (Chisholm Trail) timed 1:12.89 for second place, followed by Ziphion Reevey (Ocean Township, N.J.) timing 1:12.97 for third, and Philip Krenek (Kostelní Strimelice, Czech Republic) touching the finish line fourth with a time of 1:14.09.
 
Conner Stockerl (The Woodlands) qualified for the 200 meter dash finals and took fourth in the finals with a time of 22.74. He also raced the 4x400 meter relay with Barrientes, Reevey, and Krenek, finishing second with a time of 3:17.07, while the 'B' team of Taylor, Agenor, Edwin, and Trey Wheeler (Kaufman – Scurry-Roser) timed 3:26.68 for sixth place.
 
Trayveon Franklin (Montgomery) jumped 22 feet 8.5 inches (6.92m) for sixth place in the long jump, he also won the triple jump with a season-best mark of 49 feet 5 inches (15.06m).  
 
Mickey Ferdinand (Micoud, Saint Lucia) cleared the top height in the high jump of 6 feet 11 inches (2.11m), but took third based on tiebreakers, while Aiden Pelphrey (Princeton) placed sixth by clearing 6 feet 4.75 inches (1.95m). Ferdinand cleared 15 feet 1 inch (4.60m) for sixth place in the pole vault.
 
WOMEN
Sofia Khenfar (Lyon, France) finished sixth in the 60 meter dash with a personal-best time of 7.64 seconds. The Lions went 2-3 in the 600 yard run with Naomi Ndukwe (Perserville, France) setting the school record time of 1:23.34. Maïa Maury (Noisy-Le-Grand, France) timed 1:26.91 for third place and Elizabeth Ortiz (Palacios) finished eighth with a time of 1:33.13.
 
Leah Pettis (McKinney North) had a time of 25.34 seconds in the 200 meter dash for second place.
 
Céleste Sela (Mont de Marsan, France) won the long jump event and set the school record with a mark of 19 feet 6.25 inches (5.95m). Jenneil Jacobie (Piat Gros Islet, Saint Lucia) cleared 5 feet 5 inches (1.65m) to win the high jump via fewest misses. Maury also cleared 1.65m, but took third on tiebreakers. In the women's triple jump, Audrey Uzoukwu (North Garland) took seventh with a mark of 36 feet 1.25 inches (11.0m) in the long jump.
 
UP NEXT
The Lions are scheduled to take part in two meets next week at the New Mexico Team Open and the Colorado Invitational.
