Who: Toya White, COO and Chief Nursing Officer, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman
Fun Facts: Sitting on the edge of town sits Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman. Hopefully, you and your family members have not had the need to visit, but if you have, you may have noticed the updates and improvements THK has been working hard to improve. From an updated lobby and pushing toward a welcoming modern deign, but the behind the scenes improvements are fantastic! Texas Health has been focused on upgrading their radiology equipment, and upgrading to a new 3D mammography machine at some point this year.
They have also ben focusing on growing the orthopedic groups to accommodate a wide range of needs, a new cardiologist, Dr. Zafar, is practicing locally, and the GI physician group has expanded as well.
Toya passionately explains that everyone should have access to top quality healthcare, and THK is working hard to provide just that; meeting patients where they are and expanding services to support the community.
Remember to thank a healthcare worker next time you see one; THK is full of employees that are your neighbors and your friends, ready to help you with your health needs!
