There were 4,481 Hispanic students enrolled in Rockwall ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Rockwall ISD schools welcomed 18,384 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 24.4% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Rockwall ISD roughly covers schools within Rockwall County and has a main office in Rockwall.

Among the 22 schools in Rockwall ISD schools, Rockwall-Heath High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 804 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
