Dallas Independent School District issued the following announcement on Feb. 20.
The Racial Equity Office hosts the great annual event in collaboration with trustees Maxie Johnson, Joyce Foreman and Justin Henry. Each student will receive a free bag of books to build their home library, and school bus transportation and lunch will be provided for elementary school students.
